A rooftop restaurant and bar will open in the spring.

Allston’s first luxury hotel will open in 2026.
The Atlas Hotel, currently under construction, is located at the entrance of Harvard’s Enterprise Research Campus (ERC), an old industrial rail yard turned mixed-use space for business and research in Allston.
The 246-room hotel will open in early 2026 and feature 12 suites, more than 4,800 square feet of meeting and event space, a signature restaurant, and an outdoor terrace. A rooftop restaurant and bar is slated to open in the spring.
The hotel, located steps from Harvard Business School, is designed by Marlon Blackwell Architects and INC Architecture & Design and operated by Highgate. It will “bring a new standard of lifestyle hospitality to the area,” according to a press release.
“I just have a gut feeling about it,” Marlon Blackwell told The Boston Globe. “I could be wrong, but I have a feeling it’s going to be successful. It’s going to be a gathering place for the community. You don’t have to be in the labs. You don’t have to be at a conference. You can just be a citizen to be part of the community.”

The Atlas will be “a cultural and social gathering place for global travelers, thought leaders and locals,” according to the team, and the living room lobby will serve as the “central pulse” of the building.
Pearl & Law Hospitality, the James Beard Award-nominated team behind Comfort Kitchen in Dorchester, will helm the hotel’s signature restaurant, Ama, on the ground floor, as well as its rooftop restaurant and bar.
Outside the hotel, visitors can enjoy the Allstonway, opening this fall, featuring 300 new trees and year-round programming.
“Beyond the doors of The Atlas Hotel, Allstonway unfolds as a vibrant corridor of art, community, and green space, stretching from the Honan-Allston Library to the Charles River – mapping the next chapter of Allston’s cultural vibrancy,” according to the hotel’s website.
Reservations are open and rates begin at $325.
