Matthew Wilson, 18, was unresponsive when he was pulled from his car and pronounced dead at a hospital, the DA said.
An 18-year-old man was killed and two other people were injured in a crash in Plymouth on Friday, the local district attorney announced.
Plymouth police received a call about a serious vehicle crash at 129 State Rd., the office of Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz said in a press release.
Police found a Honda Civic and Jeep Grand Cherokee that appeared to have been in a head-on collision, Cruz’s office said. The driver of the Honda, 18-year-old Matthew Wilson of Plymouth, was pronounced dead at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, according to the DA.
A 16-year-old passenger in the Honda and a woman who was driving the Jeep were both brought to South Shore Hospital, Cruz’s office said.
A preliminary investigation indicated that Wilson lost control of his car and crossed over the double line, the DA said. Police are continuing to investigate the crash, he said.
