She signed copies of her latest book while in town for a discussion at Harvard Business School.

Reese Witherspoon signed books and ate dinner at a Boston bookstore this week.
Beacon Hill Books and Cafe posted that the “Legally Blonde” and “Big Little Lies” actress — and now best-selling author — paid a visit to the store on Wednesday.
“Author, astute businesswoman, extraordinary actress and a kind, well wisher to all,” Reese Witherspoon, “joined us for a private dinner in the bookstore while in town for her case discussion” at the Harvard Business School, the post said.
Witherspoon signed copies of her debut novel, “Gone Before Goodbye,” an instant New York Times bestselling thriller, co-authored by Harlan Coben.
While at Harvard Business School, Witherspoon spoke to a class and to the school at large, according to The Harvard Crimson.
Reflecting on her 2001 Harvard-based movie “Legally Blonde,” she said, “I had no idea when we were doing that and building that, when I was 23 years old, that 25 years later you guys [would be] watching it on campus at Harvard,” according to the Crimson.
Witherspoon also discussed her business, Reese’s Book Club, which showcases a woman-centered book by a female author each month.
“I believe as women we all need these charming, hilarious, insightful, and diverse stories … Our books have the power to spark discussions, make us laugh when we need it most, and bond us over something bigger than ourselves,” Witherspoon says on the book club website.
When Witherspoon visited Boston in 2023, she posted on Instagram, “Boston! It was a wicked good time. Loved the clam chowder, Dunkin’ cream pie specials and the duck tour.”
