After flights were reduced at Logan on Friday due to the government shutdown, travelers shared stories of disruption and uncertainty. A reader flying from Boston to Orlando was delayed three times. Another, stranded in Cincinnati, rented a car and drove home to Boston. Readers are worried about Thanksgiving travel and Airlines for America released a statement on Monday saying flight disruptions will persist even after the shutdown ends.

The pass costs $79 for adults (a value of $152) and $69 for kids age 3 to 11 (a value of $117) and includes one-time admission to the New England Aquarium and Museum of Science along with two of the following: Boston Harbor City Cruises, View Boston, Franklin Park Zoo, and Harvard Museum of Natural History. The tickets are valid for a nine-day period once in use and must be used within a year.
Travelers can get a special rate when traveling round trip on the same day on Boston Express buses at select locations. What’s more, students and members of the military can get discounts by showing ID, seniors can travel for half price, and children aged 15 and younger ride for free.
