The Revolution are marking the nation’s 250th birthday with a special “Independence Day” jersey.

New England revealed the new design on Tuesday, featuring a fireworks-themed pattern that also contains various patriotic references.

“The new Independence Day kit features a radiant starburst design inspired by classic patriotic bunting and evokes summer fireworks displays that have been lighting up New England skies for two-and-a-half centuries,” noted a Revolution press release announcing the new design.

The Independence Day jersey will be paired with navy shorts (featuring red stripes) and red, white, and blue socks. Defined as the team’s “Club Kit,” it will be worn for the 2026 and 2027 MLS seasons.

The team will also continue to wear the “Eastern White Pine” jersey (known as the “Community” kit) in the 2026 season after its debut a year ago.

The Revolution are set to open the 2026 MLS regular season on Feb. 21 against Nashville SC at Geodis Park. Kickoff time is set for 8:30 p.m. as New England enters a new era under first-year head coach Marko Mitrović.
