BPD seeks public’s help to identify suspect in South Boston assault

Boston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with an aggravated assault in South Boston earlier in January. 

According to the Boston Police Department, the incident occurred on Jan. 11 at approximately 8:30 p.m. near 101 W. Broadway. The suspect is alleged to have been involved in an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and no arrest has been made.

The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 5’8” to 5’10”, with dark hair. Anyone with information is asked to contact District C-6 detectives at 617-343-4742. Tips can also be submitted anonymously.
