Maye took a trip to Westwood before New England departs for its Week 7 game against the Titans in Tennessee.

A familiar face was in attendance for Friday night’s premier high school football matchup between the Catholic Memorial Knights and the Xaverian Hawks.
Patriots quarterback Drake Maye stopped by Xaverian Brothers High in Westwood with his wife, Ann.
The Mayes were in attendance ahead of New England’s Week 7 trip to Tennessee to face the Titans.
Maye, the Patriots’ second-year QB, was naturally a popular guest.
He received loud cheers from the crowd, including “MVP!” chants, while walking away from the field.
The MVP chants are certainly warranted given his stats through six games, but he didn’t entertain the idea of the award earlier this week.
“Oh shoot. No, I’ve got a lot of work to do. I think that’s a long way away. Getting some more wins is what I’m focused on,” Maye said on WEEI on Monday after New England’s 25-19 win over the New Orleans Saints. “I think that stuff all comes to life when you start making plays and winning games.”
Entering the weekend, Maye ranks fifth among qualified NFL QBs in passing yards (1,522), fourth in QB rating (112.5), and second in completion percentage (73.2 percent).
Off the field, Maye chose an exciting Mass. high school football game to watch on Friday. Xaverian maintained its undefeated record (6-0) with a 25-22 win over Catholic Memorial (3-3).
He even posed for a picture with a Xaverian student, who appears to be a big fan.
Maye caught a glimpse of some neutral pigskin before Sunday’s Patriots-Titans matchup. The 23-year-old will have a chance to help New England improve to 5-2 on the season and hold on to its No. 1 spot in the AFC East.
