Caffeine and crustaceans are on the line — either way (go Pats!).

Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey made a friendly wager ahead of this weekend’s Super Bowl LX matchup between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks — putting the state’s world-class Dunkin’ and chowdah on the line.

In a video shared on her Instagram account, Healey promised Washington Gov. Bob Ferguson that in “the unlikely event” that the Pats lose Sunday’s big game, she’ll send over some of the Bay State’s most cherished exports.

But Ferguson insisted that the Hawks would take their “revenge,” a nod to New England’s 2015 Super Bowl win over Seattle.

“You sound pretty confident. How about a friendly bet?” Healey said in the video, wearing a Drake Maye jersey. “I talked to the people of Massachusetts, OK? So in the unlikely event you win, here’s what we’re going to send you.”

Healey promised to ship Legal Sea Foods’ clam chowder, lobster rolls, and East Coast oysters.

“And I hear you don’t have very good coffee out there, so we’re gonna throw in some Dunkin’,” she quipped.

Legal Sea Foods’ president and COO Matt King stood behind the wager.

“In Massachusetts, we’re proud of our championship lineage and just as proud of the waterfront heritage that put New England seafood on the map,” King said in a statement. “Our local seafood has the same personality, saltiness, and intensity Bostonians are known for. If Seattle wins, we’ll send a proper sampling, but we like our chances. We’ll take that coffee after we’re up late celebrating.”

On the flip side of the bet, Ferguson promised that if the Patriots win, he’ll send Healey “some of the best shellfish and coffee in the world.”

Healey plans to attend this weekend’s Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, California, as part of a work trip out West, according to a WBUR report. She left Massachusetts on Thursday and is expected to return after the game on Monday.

“Governor Healey will be attending the Super Bowl, and is excited to represent Massachusetts, cheer on the Patriots, and promote our economy and tourism,” a campaign statement cited by WBUR said. “This trip will include work to help elect and reelect Democratic governors in other states, and her political committee and the Democratic Governors Association are covering all costs. Her travel is not being paid by taxpayers.”

On Friday, the governor declared this weekend New England Patriots Appreciation Weekend. The proclamation urges “all residents of the Commonwealth to take cognizance of [Super Bowl LX] and participate fittingly in its observance.”
