New England Patriots
“You’re going to get your MVP here in a second.”

Drake Maye, who missed practice Friday due to an illness and shoulder injury, made an appearance at the Patriots’ send-off rally in Foxborough on Sunday.
“You’re going to get your MVP here in a second,” said Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel.
Vrabel said a big part of New England’s success stems from its players, “especially our quarterback,” before beckoning Maye to center stage.
Maye gave a thumbs-up as fans serenaded him with MVP chants.
“First off, I just want to thank you guys,” Maye said. “You guys have been great all season. Man, wouldn’t be here without you guys. What a journey.”
He then added that as magical as the ride has been, it’s not done yet.
The Patriots face the Seahawks in Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium, with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m.
