The Northern Lights were visible across Boston and New England skies Tuesday night, caused by a geomagnetic storm.

You don’t have to travel to Iceland to see the Northern Lights — if you’re in New England, you may be able to simply look outside.

Dazzling aurora borealis illuminated Boston-area skies Tuesday night, caused by a geomagnetic storm.

The lights, ranging from blue to green to pink, were visible across the nation and in several areas in Massachusetts.

If you missed it, there’s still a chance to see the Northern Lights Wednesday, according to WBZ-TV meteorologist Eric Fisher.
