New England Revolution
Turgeman will try to bolster a struggling Revolution attack.

The Revolution have added another forward to the team’s roster.
New England announced the signing of Israeli forward Dor Turgeman from Maccabi Tel Aviv on Wednesday evening. The 21-year-old was signed via the MLS U22 Initiative, and will join the club following receipt of his P-1 visa on a deal that runs through the 2028 season (with a club option for 2029).
The transfer fee was not officially disclosed, but MLS insider Tom Bogert reported that the Revolution will pay $5.5 million.
Turgeman scored 16 goals and notched three assists for Maccabi Tel Aviv in the 2024-25 season. During his time with the club, he helped them win two league titles, as well as an Israeli Super Cup.
“Dor is a natural finisher and has a huge upside for the future,” Revolution head coach Caleb Porter said in a statement. “He is a young, dynamic attacker who can create for himself and also gets in good spots to score as a box striker. I am confident that his profile will translate well to MLS. We will work to quickly integrate him into the team and league upon his arrival in New England.”
With eight games to go in the MLS season, the Revolution could certainly use some help up front. The team’s overall tally of 33 goals ranks in the lower half of the league. New England is currently 11th in the Eastern Conference, 11 points adrift of the playoff line.
Having spent an MLS record amount of General Allocation Money to acquire striker Leo Campana in the offseason, New England has struggled to generate production from the 25-year-old Ecuadorian. Through 19 appearances (a number limited by multiple injuries), Campana has scored five goals.
Other Revolution forwards have combined for just seven goals, indicative of the team’s ongoing issues in front of net.
With the addition of Turgeman, New England has now reached the MLS-mandated limit of allowed U22 and Designated Player roster spots (with three each).
