New England Patriots
“To be honest, it might be a bigger test than last week.”

The Patriots are riding high this week, coming off a 23-20 win over the previously undefeated Buffalo Bills.
New England will travel to play the 1-4 Saints in New Orleans this Sunday, a team that lost to the Bills two weeks ago.
On paper, this is a matchup that many would’ve predicted would fare better for New England than last week’s game.
However, Stefon Diggs believes differently.
“I know their record might not show it but they’re very skillful up front and in the back end,” Diggs stated to reporters on Wednesday. “To be honest, it might be a bigger test than last week.”
Going into the season the Saints were projected to be one of the worst teams in the league, and this projection proved to be true. Their first win of the season came against the Giants last week, although they did win by two scores.
With veterans such as Demario Davis holding down the defense though, Diggs is worried the Saints are better than their record states.
“I know their record does not say it but they’re a good football team,” he continued. “They’ve been in one score games plenty of times and I don’t expect it to be no different.”
New Orleans lost to the Cardinals 20-13 in Week 1 as well as a 26-21 defeat to the 49ers the following week.
Both of these are solid outings for the Saints, as the 49ers are 4-1 currently and sat atop the NFC West.
Losing to one-win teams wouldn’t be new for the Patriots either, being the only team the Raiders have beaten this season. Diggs wants to make sure they go into this matchup in the right headspace, and not be thinking it will be easy.
New England has enjoyed traveling to New Orleans historically, being 5-1 against the Saints while playing there. They will look to continue this trend Sunday afternoon, and improve to three wins in a row.
