Stefon Diggs was standing out of bounds and looking in the other direction when Seattle’s Josh Jobe put both hands on the Patriots’ receiver’s chest and shoved him to the ground.

Jobe looked back as he walked away. Diggs got up and and ran over to Jobe. Jobe grabbed Diggs with both hands as Diggs grabbed him by the facemask. Jobe also hit Diggs’s facemask. Mack Hollins attempted to break the scuffle up, and Kayshon Boutte put his arms around Diggs as they walked away.

There was no penalty thrown on the play. There also weren’t any ejections, though Jobe did appear to make a fist and throw a couple of punches in Diggs’s direction.

At that point, the Patriots were trailing by double digits and Diggs had recorded one catch for five yards. New England struggled to potect Drake Maye, and the Patriots’ receivers struggled to get open.

There also was a dust-up between Diggs and Devon Witherspoon during the second quarter. Both players walked away before there was any escalation.

Diggs, 32, is currently facing assault and strangulation charges from an alleged December incident with a personal chef. His arraignment is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 13. Diggs has denied the allegations and the Patriots have said that the organization supports him.
